Michael K. Ellingham, 41 of Batavia, NY. Died Saturday November 6, 2010 at his home. Born December 2, 1968 in Rochester, New York. Son of James Ellingham of Las Vegas Nevada and the late Keneta Joy Murray Ellingham. Mike worked as a Child Care Assistant at the NYS School for the Blind in Batavia. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed working with the children at the blind school. He enjoyed music, cooking and spending time with his son. He is preceded in death by his step mother Joan C. Ellingham.
He is survived by his son Joshua M. Ellingham of Elba; brother Mark (Lisa) Ellingham of Bergen, his step sister Christine (James) Wheeler of Naples, FL and his girlfriend Mindy Moon of Batavia. 2 nieces and 2 nephews Jayson Ivison, Michael Wheeler, Morgan Wheeler and Kali Ellingham also survive.
Friends may call on Wednesday November 10, 2010 from 4 to 8 PM at the Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company Inc. 32-333 W Main St. Batavia, NY. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at the Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Grand View Cemetery in Batavia.
