Timothy Jon Rittersback

Timothy Jon Rittersback, 43, of Batavia, died Friday (November 12, 2010) at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia.

He was born in Batavia on February 27, 1967, a son of the late Gay Mager Parker and Thomas Rittersback.

He is a veteran of the US Marine Corps.  He was employed by Arctic Refrigeration for 17 years and was currently training as a school bus driver with First Student School Bus Co. in Batavia.  He enjoyed coaching baseball, fishing and spending quality time with his family.

Surviving is his wife of over 17 years, Denelle "Dee" Marsh Rittersback of Batavia.  Three sons: Trevor, Travis and Tyler Rittersback at home.   His stepfather, David Parker of Hancock, MD.  Maternal grandmother, Kathleen Mager of Batavia.  Sister, Tammy Kelly of Berkely Springs, W. VA.  Two aunts, Teresa (Rick) Tamfer and Jennifer (Jim) Jacobs both of Batavia.  Three uncles, Richard (Victoria) Mager, Michael (Jill Smith) Mager and William (Patti) Mager all of Batavia.   Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

He is the grandson of the late Hester and Carl Rittersback and Henry Mager. and uncle of the late Jason Kelly.

Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 - 8 PM at the J. LEONARD MCANDREW FUNERAL HOME, 2 BOGUE AVE., BATAVIA.  Prayers will be Wednesday at 8:45 AM at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM at Ascension Parish (Sacred Heart Church).  Full military honors will follow at the church.  Entombment will be in St. Joseph Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
