Robert P. Austen

Bob was born on June 7, 1969 a son of Robert Austin and Kathy Slusser Salada both of Perry. Bob was a graduate of Perry High School class of 1987. He worked as a carpenter for the Rochester’s Carpenter Union Local #85.He was a member of the Silver Lake Sportsmans Club, and the Perry Vets Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, doing carpentry work, cooking, playing football, baseball, and golfing.

He is survived by two sons Kameron Austen of Clifton Springs, Bobby Austen of Murfreesboro, TN; fiancé Jonica Hare of Perry, 3 sisters JoAnn (Bradley) Gardner of Castile, Shelley (Gary) DeVinney of Silver Springs, and Kristen (Jarrod Blaszak) Austen of Warsaw, 5 nieces and nephews Nathan, Noah and Matthew Gardner of Castile; Brooke and Carson Devinney of Silver Springs, Jonica’s brother Kenny Bagg, and sister Jamee Thornton both of Warsaw, along with many friends also survive.

Friends are invited to call on Friday November 19th from 4-8pm at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main St. Perry, NY 14530. Services will be on Saturday November 20th at the Funeral Home. Interment will take place in Glenwood Cemetery; Perry, NY.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Kathy Salada to set up a fund for Bob’s sons.
