Age 83, of Elba, died Sunday February 5, 2017 at Crossroads House. She was born March 8, 1933 in Batavia, NY daughter of the late Martin and Margaret (Wozniak) Jacek also preceded in death by siblings, Steve, Charlie, Ray, Ed, Marty, Dorothy and Helen Jacek. 

Mrs. Stucko was formerly employed at Sylvania and Delco, she has been a longtime member of St. Padre Pio Parish in Elba. She was an avid sports fan and gardener, enjoyed playing golf, needlework, stained glass, the outdoors, especially fishing and hiking. 

Surviving is her devoted husband of 63 years, John J. Stucko of Elba; children, Marty (Amy) Stucko of Elba and their children, Meg and Collin; Jim Stucko of Oakfield and his children, Nick (Megan) Stucko and John (Hannah) Stucko; Zoe (Dell) Jeffery of Newcomb, NY and their children, Nathan (Jess) Jeffery, Jess (Eric) Ackerman; great-grandson, Wyatt Jeffery along with many nieces and nephews. 

Please join the Stucko family in celebrating Sophia's Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. Thursday Feb. 9 at St. Padre Pio Parish (Elba Site). She will be laid to rest in Maple Lawn Cemetery and memorials in her memory can be made to Crossroads House 11 Liberty Street Batavia or to St. Padre Pio Parish.
