Mary Cameron Hayles, 92 of Brockport, NY. Went peacefully on Friday, January 21, 2011 at the Lakeside Beikirch Care Center in Brockport. Born August 11, 1918 in Chilliwack, British Columbia. She is daughter of the late Henry ( Elizabeth Cameron) Eddie. Mrs. Hayles graduated from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver as a Registered Nurse. She also had her Master’s in Public School Health Administration. She retired in 1980 as a School Nurse from the Batavia Public School System. Mary is predeceased by her husband Oliver John “Jack” Hayles.
Loving wife and mother, she leaves behind her children John (Hilary) of Winnipeg, Manitoba; Donald (Patricia) of AZ; William (Patricia) of Brockport; Robert (Sandra) Hayles of Washington (State); 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren survive along with several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Friday February 4th from 3 to 7 PM at The Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company Inc. 329-333 West Main St. Batavia, NY 14020. 11:00 AM Funeral Service will take place on Saturday February 5th at the First Presbyterian Church 300 East Main St. Batavia, NY 14020. Interment at Chilliwack IOOF Cemetery in British Columbia.
