Anna L. Richmond, 85 of Batavia. Died May 24, 2011 at the United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia. Born June 30, 1925 in Batavia, New York. She is daughter of the late Joseph (Margaret Spiotta) Pappalardo. Mrs. Richmond was a longtime member of Resurrection Parish-St. Joseph’s Church and lifetime member of the former St. Nicholas club in Batavia. She loved her dog Molly. She is preceded in death by her husband Richard R. Richmond (2003); daughter Karen Richmond; granddaughter Rachel A. Richmond; sister Theresa Valle; brother-in-law James Richmond.
                                                                                                                                         She is survived by her sons Richard (Cynthia) Richmond II of Batavia; Robert Richmond of Batavia; sister Dolores (Donald) Richardson of Batavia; sisters-in-law Helen Richmond; Patricia (Charles) Mundy; Dorothy Cole; Edeltrude Richmond all of Niagara Falls, NY; grandchildren Joseph R., Michael A. and Amber M. Richmond all of Batavia; along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.     

Friends are invited to call 9 to 11:30 AM on Friday May 27, 2011 at the Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc. 329-333 W. Main St. Batavia, NY 14020. Prayers will be recited 11:30 AM at the Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 12:00 Noon at Resurrection Parish-St. Joseph’s Church 303 E. Main St. Batavia, NY 14020. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Batavia.
