Franziska Szafarski

Franziska Szafarski, 86, of Darien Center passed away peacefully on Friday May 26, 2017 at Crossroads House in Batavia. She was born in Romania on January 15, 1931 to the late Jan and Marie Lavrincik. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband of 59 years Jan Szafarski;  brother and sister in law Karol (Dorothy) Lavrincik.

Fran is survived by her nephews; Karol (Debbie) Lavrincik Jr., John (Ann) Lavrincik and Richard (Brenda) Lavrincik; niece Kathyrn (Tom) Lukasik and her loving friends Bernice and David Kopacz.

A special thank you to the Crossroads House for all of the loving care they provided to Fran.

Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday May 30, 2017 from 2:00-6:00PM at Marley Funeral Home, LLC. 135 Main Street Attica, New York 14011. A 10:00AM Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday the 31^st at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church 10677 Alleghany Rd. Darien Center, NY. She will be laid to rest in Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery in East Bennington.
