ANDREW E. VAITER

Age 92, of Batavia, died peacefully Sunday evening October 9, 2011 at United Memorial Medical Center. He was born December 26, 1918 in Oakfield, son of the late John & Theresa Vaiter, also preceded in death by a brother Tom; sisters Anna and Angie Vaiter. Mr. Vaiter was a member of Ascension Parish (St. Anthony's) and worked for many years at Batavia Metal Products. He had a love for animals, enjoyed Bingo, horse races and was a collector of clocks. Andy has a passion for carpentry, always tinkering with things or building something original.

Surviving is his beloved wife of 46 years Rose (Syracuse) Vaiter of Batavia and a sister Helen Oles of Oakfield along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends may visit fro 9-10:30 AM Saturday October 15, 2011 at the Michael S. Tomaszewski Funeral & Cremation Chapel, LLC 4120 West Main Street Road Batavia, New York 14020 where prayers will be recited 10:30 AM followed by a 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Ascension Parish (St. Anthony's Site).
