Joan Hahn

Joan A. Hahn, 74, of Clarence Center, passed away peacefully October 10, 2011 at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.

She was born January 28, 1937 in Newstead, NY to the late Charles and Birdie Ludecker.

Joan had a love for flowers and owned the former Flowers & More in Clarence Center.  She was also very active within the Clarence Center Vol. Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Hahn and son in-law, Doug Monks.

Survivors include a son, Dr. Lawrence (Pam) Penvose of N. Canton, OH. Two daughters, Peggy Monks of Newstead and Debbie (Herman) Redman of West Jefferson, OH.  Eight grandchildren, Charles, Andrew, John and Lauren Penvose, Karie (William) Bellezza, Melissa Monks, Aaron and Derrek Coleman.  Great-granddaughter, Brooklynn Monks. Sister, Joyce Mooers of Clarence. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may call Thursday from 2-8pm at the J. LEONARD MCANDREW FUNERAL HOME, LLC, 32 JOHN ST., AKRON.   Services will be held Friday, 10:30am at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 7700 Goodrich Rd., Clarence Center, NY.

Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Clarence Center Vol. Fire Dept.
