Carol A. Adams, 67, of Batavia, died Friday (November 4, 2011) at Crossroads House in Batavia following a brief illness.

She was born in Batavia on February 17, 1944, a daughter of the late Carl and Mae Peet Earl.

Mrs. Adams was a 1962 graduate of Batavia High School and was a produce clerk at the former Latina's Foods in Batavia.  She adored being with her grandchildren and loved cooking and baking.  Her favorite was home made fudge from her Mom's recipe.

Surviving are two sons, Rick Adams and Mark (Tina) Adams all of Batavia.  Two grandchildren: Benjamin and Gloria Adams.  Three sisters: Marilyn (late Lee) Henning of Stafford, Jacqueline Duckworth of Batavia and Sue (late Angelo) DelPlato of Irondequoit.  A brother, Christopher Earl of Batavia.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

She is the mother of the late Jacqueline Sue Adams and sister of the late Raymond Earl.

Visitation will be Monday from 4 - 8 PM at the J. Leonard McAndrew Funeral Home, LLC., 2 Bogue Ave., Batavia where services will be Tuesday at 10 AM.

Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery.
