Age 92, of Batavia died peacefully Sunday morning November 6, 2011 at the Genesee County Nursing Home. She was born November 12, 1919 in Buffalo, daughter of the late Piot & MaryAnna (Wiklinska) Elimnowski and was also preceded in death by her husband John. She worked for many years at General Electric, Irene was a quiet woman who had a deep faith and prayed the rosary daily, and was an avid Bills and Yankees fan.
Surviving are her children Gerald of Buffalo, Robert A. of Honeoye Falls and Barbara Odachowski of Batavia; special granddaughter Dawn Jaszko of Pembroke, 3 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Family and friends are invited to an 11:00 AM Memorial Service Saturday November 12, 2011 at the Michael S. Tomaszewski Funeral & Cremation Chapel, LLC 4120 West Main Street Road Batavia, New York 14020.
