Joseph Trigilio, 84 of Batavia, died January 2, 2012 at United Memorial Medical Center. He was born February 16, 1927 in Oakfield, New York to the late Angelo (Anna Bordinaro) Trigilio. Mr. Trigilio was the former owner of the Track Restaurant in Batavia. He was a member of Ascension Parish (St. Anthony’s), a World War II Navy Veteran, former life member of the St. Nicholas Social Club, the Veness Strollo Post 1602 VFW; he was also the former manager of the Farmer’s Market. He enjoyed bingo and going to the casino with his wife. He is preceded in death by his brothers Nicholas, Sam and Frank Trigilio and Sisters Angeline Paradise, Rose Grasso, and Josephine Papero. 

He is survived by his beloved wife Jennie C. (Recchio) Trigilio of Batavia, son Joseph (Kathleen) Trigilio of Attica, daughters Angela Earle and Tammy (Mark) Schmidt all of Batavia; brother John Trigilio; sisters Ann Liberante and Jennie Paradowski both of Batavia; along with 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Friday January 6, 2012 from 4 to 8 PM at the Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc., 329-333 West Main Street, Batavia, NY 14020. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday January 7, 2012 at 12 Noon in Ascension Parish (St. Anthony’s), 122 Liberty Street, Batavia, NY. Entombment will take place in St. Joseph’s Mausoleum.
