Stanley L. MacDonald

Stanley was born in Castile, New York on April 7, 1914 a son of the late Frank and Artella Lathrop MacDonald. Stanley was a graduate of Perry High School and Rochester Institute of Technology. He worked for many years on his father’s family farm in Castile and the former Perry Knitting Mill before going to Eastman Kodak. He worked for Eastman Kodak for 36 years as a supervisor of warehousing retiring in 1979 at the age of 65.He was a former member of the Parkminster Presbyterian Church in Chili. He liked to travel , enjoyed working and enjoyed living on Silver Lake. He is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy (Burns) MacDonald who died on December 9, 2007, and a sister Gladys Mimm.

He is survived by a son John “Jack” MacDonald of Castile, 1 daughter: Marcia (Mayeed) Rahman of Pittsford, NY, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Family and friends may call from 6-8 pm on Thursday February 2nd at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main St. in Perry, NY 14530. Funeral services will be held on Friday February 3rd at 2:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery in Perry.
