Henry B. Mitalski

Henry B. Mitalski, 81a longtime resident of Livonia, NY and most recently of Pueblo, Colorado where he spent the last year of his retirement living near family members. He passed away on April 7, 2012 in Colorado. Henry was born March 24, 1931. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army 3rd Infantry Division having served during the Korean War.  Henry enjoyed playing football in his youth and in 1949 was the captain of the Batavia High School football team.  He had a long and enjoyable career as a power utility lineman and foreman for Niagara Mohawk in western New York. He is predeceased by his brothers Phillip Metz, Tony Mitalski and Casey Mitalski.    

Henry is survived by his brother Ed Mitalski of Newfane,NY, sister Jine Monachino of Wichita,KS, and many nieces and nephews. 

There will be no prior calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM on Thursday April 19, 2012 at Ascension Parish-Sacred Heart Church 19 Sumner St. Batavia, NY 14020. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery Batavia, NY.
