LUCY (FALLATO) STROLLO

     Age 87, of Batavia, died peacefully Thursday June 14, 2012 at United Memorial Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 7, 1924 in Holley, daughter of the late Charles & Rose (DeCarlo) Fallato, also preceded in death by her brother Anthony Fallato; sisters Mary Mower, Anna Spell & Viola Starkweather.

     Lucy was a member of Ascension Parish and worked as department manager for the former Montgomery Ward Co. before her retirement. She and her husband enjoyed 26 wonderful years in Jensen Beach, FL where she had many dear friends and loved to play bingo, cards and going to the casino every chance she had. She will be remembered as a loving, caring person who especially loved her family.

     She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years Anthony Fallato; beloved daughter Donna (Allen) Jackett; sons Anthony & Robert Strollo all of Batavia; 5 grandchildren Courtney Jackett of Batavia, Shawn Jackett of Fairport, Andy Strollo of Batavia, Lacie (Jason) Snell of Stafford & Katie (Jeremy) Cosimeno of Batavia; 5 great-grandchildren Peyton Armison, Bryson Snell, Gianna & Gabriella Strollo and Nicholas Cosimeno; sister Florence Passarell; sister-in-law Lydia Fallato both of Holley along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

     There is no prior visitation and funeral services will be held privately by the family. Memorials in Lucy's memory are suggested to the family for the Alheimer's Association. Lucy's family would like to acknowledge the 2nd floor staff at UMMC & the staff of the Batavia Nursing Home for their excellent care "You are truly angel's earth".
