Edward G. Herbert

Edward G. Herbert, 33, of New York City,  formerly of Castile and Rochester died Saturday (Aug, 25, 2012) unexpectedly at his home. He was born in Warsaw June 29, 1979, aa son of the late Robert Herbert and Rose Seavert Spencer of Castile. Edward was a 1997 graduate of Letchworth Central, received an associates degree in business from Monroe Community College and Continental Beauty School in Rochester. He was a self employed hairdresser who had owned and operated the former Kelly Edwards Salon in Rochester. He enjoyed traveling, loved his work, and was always the life of the party. He is preceded in death by his father Robert Herbert who died in 1994, a sister Christa Herbert who died in 1983, grandparents Jeanne Seavert, Edward (Ethel) Herbert.

Survivors include his mother Rose (James) Spencer of Castile; two sisters, Marie Herbert of Binghamton and Dawn (Jeff White) Ebner of Silver Springs; two step-brothers: Chris Spencer of Batavia and Scott (Tiffany) Spencer of Simpsonville, S.C.; his grandfather: Richard Seavert of Darien, Ga., a nephew, Shae Ebner; four nieces, Alexsis Ebner, Lakayla Herbert, Olivia and Ava Spencer along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Family and friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main St. in Perry, where services will follow visitation at 1.
