Harley M. Hunneyman

Stafford – Harley M. Hunneyman, 92, of Stafford, passed away on Tuesday, (February 26, 2013) at United Memorial Medical Center, following a brief illness.

Mr. Hunneyman was born July 15, 1920 in LaFargeville, NY, a son of the late Erle S. and Lottie (Decker) Hunneyman.

He served during World War II with the Army Air Corps and was in the Aleutian Islands.  Harley was a member of the Moose, VFW and the American Legion.  He was a lifetime carpenter and enjoyed playing cards and spending time with family.

Harley’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Michelle and Becky for all of the care they showed him.  It will never be forgotten.  

He is the husband of the late Jean (Chapell) Hunneyman who passed away in 2005.

Surviving are his sons, Gary (Carolyn) Hunneyman of Las Vegas, Craig (Carol) Hunneyman of Huntington Beach, CA, and Mark Hunneyman of Rochester; a grandson, Chaston Hunneyman of Huntington Beach, CA.  A sister-in-law, Sandy Hunneyman of Cape Vincent, NY also survives.

Harley is preceded in death by his brothers, Roger, Erle (late Pauline), Lyle (late Helen) and Ralph Hunneyman as well as his sisters, Violet Hunneyman and Catherine (late Jim) Cummins.  

Friends may call on Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. at H.E. Turner & Co.
