Scott R. Paul, 57 of Batavia, died February 26, 2013 at the United Memorial Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born August 8, 1955 in Auburn, NY to Robert (Yvonne) Paul of Perinton, NY and the late Helen (Cregg) Paul. Scott owned and operated Center Street Smokehouse with his brother Cregg. He loved graphic design and did all of the graphic design work for the restaurant along with designing the interior of the building with Cregg. He graduated from the University of Maryland and went on to work at Booz Allen. Scott was an avid golfer that loved music, photography and played the guitar. He is preceded in death by a sister Ellen Shucker.

He is survived by his beloved companion Donna Sullivan of Batavia; father Robert (Yvonne) Pual of Perinton; brother Cregg Paul of Batavia; sisters Lisa (Ron) Benke of Greece; Denise (Jim) Peterson of East Rochester; Amy (Robert) Digby, Jennifer (Craig) Coughlin both of Virginia along with 7 nieces and nephews.

There will be no prior calling hours. A Celebration of Scott’s life for family and close friends will take place on Friday March 1st from 1 to 4 PM at Center Street Smokehouse. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday March 4th 10:30 AM at Holy Family Church 85 North Street Auburn, NY 13021. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Auburn.
