Mrs. Evelyn R. Peck, 92 of East Pembroke, died Thursday May 9, 2013 at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia. She was born March 3, 1921 in Clarence to the late Edward (Anna Hartwig) Zimmerman. Mrs. Peck was a homemaker and an active member of the East Pembroke Cornerstone Church. She was an avid crocheter, actively involved in the church bazaar’s, she enjoyed gardening, flowers and sewing. Mrs. Peck was preceded in death by her husband Russell M. Peck in 1996, brothers Edward and Norman Zimmerman and her twin sister Erna Heintzman.
She is survived by her son Kevin Peck of East Pembroke, daughter Cheryl (Thomas) Ronan of Batavia; two grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call on Saturday May 11, 2013 from 1 to 2 PM at the Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc. 329-333 West Main Street Batavia, New York 14020. Funeral Services will follow calling hours at 2:00 PM. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, East Pembroke, NY.
