Willard P. Henry, Jr.

Willard P. Henry, Jr., 72 of Batavia, died Saturday May 18, 2013 at the United Memorial Medical Center. He was born January 6, 1941 in Spencer, MA to the late Willard P. (Irene Fairbrother) Henry, Sr.. Mr. Henry was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Batavia, a United States Navy Veteran and a Town of Batavia Volunteer Fireman for over 25 years. He was an avid Yankee fan and loved to hunt. Willard loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son Scott Henry in 1985, sisters Margaret Gay and Bernice Davis.    

He is survived by his beloved wife Jean M. (Lindke) Henry of Batavia; daughters Constance (Mark) Post of Byron; Lori (Andrew) Henry-Draper of Batavia; grandchildren Johnathan, Amanda Post, Sean, Coltin Henry; brothers Russell Henry of Holden, MA; George (Becky) Henry of Tonawanda; sister Barbara Starr of Lockport along with several nieces and nephews.  

Calling hours will be held on Monday May 20, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc. 329-333 West Main Street Batavia, New York 14020. 11:00 AM Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday May 21, 2013 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church 31 Washington Ave. Batavia, NY 14020. Interment will take place in Grand View Cemetery, Batavia.
