Fay Johnson Dumbleton

Fay Johnson Dumbleton, 81, of E. Bethany, died peacefully on Sunday (May 26, 2013) at Crossroads House.

She was born in Batavia on February 19, 1932, daughter of the late Charles B. and Hazel V. Hyde Johnson.

Fay was formerly employed by P.W. Minor Shoe Factory, New York Telephone Co. and Lawing Studio.  Fay was a member of the American Rabbit Breeders Assoc., Ontario CAVY (Guinea Pigs) Club, where she was a breeder and judge for over 35 years.  She volunteered for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service at Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge and was a member and past officer of the Glenn S. Loomis American Legion Post #332 Auxiliary.

She was the wife of the late Robert J. Coniber who died in 1964.

Survivors include her husband, Donald L. Dumbleton of E. Bethany. Three step-children, Cathy (Norm) Monachino of Elba, David L. Dumbleton of Wyoming, NY and Steven (Cindy) Dumbleton of LeRoy.  Also survived by five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and very dear friends, Denise and Bill Robertson of Canada.

No prior visitation.  A graveside service will be held Saturday (June 1st), 11am at Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Corfu.
