Teresa G. Squires

Teresa G. Squires, 88 of Warsaw, passed away on July 25, 2013 at Eastside Nursing Home in Warsaw. She was born October 8, 1924 in Batavia to the late Sylvester (Mary Petz) George. Mrs. Squires was a retired school teacher having taught in Albion and the former St. Mary’s School in Batavia. She was formerly a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Albion and an enjoyed baking especially cookies. She is preceded in death by her husband John Edwin Squires, son Bernard Squires, brothers Paul, Lawrence, Harold and Francis George, and sisters Florence Reisdorf and Mary George.

Teresa is survived by her sons John (Mary) Squires of Brockport, Gregory (Sandra) Squires, Jeffrey (Sara) Squires all of Prattsburg, daughter Barbara (Joseph) Sanguiliano of Manalapan, NJ, brother Bernard (Mary) George of Batavia, sister Shirley (Thomas) Edbauer of North Tonawanda and 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren survive along with many nieces and nephews. 

Friends are invited to call on Saturday July 27, 2013 from 4 to 7 PM at Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc. 329-333 West Main Street Batavia, New York 14020. A 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday July 29, 2013 at Holy Family Roman Catholic Parish 106 Main St. Albion, NY 14411. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Batavia.
