JUDITH ELAINE HALL

JUDITH ELAINE HALL Age 61, longtime Batavia City School District teacher, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Strong Memorial Hospital. She was born August 11, 1952 to the late D. Earl & Esther (Pape) Bolles.

   Judi obtained her undergraduate and masters degrees in mathematics from SUNY Brockport, and began teaching in 1978. Her amazing teaching career spanned 30 plus years and touched the lives of thousands of students. She was an avid golfer and scored an epic hole-in-one on Terry Hills' signature island hole #14. She enjoyed bowling, traveling, RV-ing, tutoring, and an occasional trip to the casino. She loved her family vacations to Beckers, amusement parks, and Disney World. Her greatest joys were her children, grandchildren, pets (Midnight, Jayden, Dakota), and the love of her life, Scott.

   Surviving is her beloved husband of 35 years, Scott Hall of Batavia; loving children, Amy K. (Jason) Harris of Michigan and their children, Matthew John & Elizabeth Kristine; David W. (Ashley) Hall of Batavia and Philip S. Hall of Colorado; brothers and sisters, late Daniel (Ruth) Bolles of Florida, Constance (Robert) Hummel of Kenmore, late Donald (Anne) Bolles of Texas, Richard (Joann) Bolles of Nevada, Janet (late Robert) Widmann of Florida, her twin brother, John (Liz) Bolles of Oregon and Carol (Daniel) Schrantz of Williamsville; sisters-in-law, Sharon Michie of North Carolina and Lynn Sutherland-Bolles of Colorado; sister-in-law, Wende (Sidney Richard) London of Batavia; brother-in-law, Ronald (Shellye) Dale-Hall of Elba; mother-in-law, Dorothy B. (late William D.) Hall of Batavia and many special nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

   Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Monday, August 26, 2013 and from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, August 27, 2013. The celebration of Judi's life will begin at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2013. All services will be held at the Michael S. Tomaszewski Funeral & Cremation Chapel, LLC. Burial will be in Grand View Cemetery, and memorials in her memory are suggested to the family to be distributed to charities of Judi's choice.
