LOUIS A. CORBELLI

LOUIS A. CORBELLI Age 77, of Batavia, formerly of Oakfield, died peacefully  Monday September 16, 2013 at the Genesee County Nursing Home. He was born in Altoona, PA, a son of the late Carlo and Domenica (Tacca) Corbelli, also preceded in death by his brother, John Corbelli and sister, Mary Jo Pilato.

Louis was a 1954 graduate of Oakfield High School and earned an associate's degree from Alfred State College. He was retired from the New York State Department of Transportation in Rochester where he held a civil engineering post for 37 years and was a member of the Highway of Engineers. He was also employed part-time at Batavia Downs for many years. He was a parishioner of Resurrection Parish (St. Joseph's) and former member of Ascension Parish (St. Anthony's) where he was president of the Holy Name Society and also served as an usher. Mr. Corbelli was a sports enthusiast who enjoyed bowling and was an avid golfer.

Mr. Corbelli is survived by his loving wife, Annette (Pullinzi) Corbelli of Batavia, a son, David (Julie) Corbelli of Elma; daughters, Judith (Dennis) Minnick of Alden and Marianne (James) Richter of Illinois along with four grandsons, Ryan and Alex Corbelli, Reagan and Reese Richter; brothers, Bernard (Pat) Corbelli of Georgia, Sandy Corbelli of Williamsville, Peter (Barbara) Corbelli of Batavia, Leo (Sue) Corbelli of California, Octavio (Lynn) Corbelli of Arizona and Victor (Barbara) Corbelli of Texas; sisters, Antoinette Martin of Missouri and Elizabeth Seeberg of Arizona; sister-in-law, Antoinette Corbelli of Williamsville; brother-in-law, Frank Pilato of Arizona along with many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to recite prayers, 9:15 AM Saturday September 21, 2013 at the Michael S. Tomaszewski Funeral & Cremation Chapel, LLC 4120 West Main Street Road Batavia, New York 14020, a Mass of Christian Burial will follow 10:00 AM at Resurrection Parish (St. Joseph's Site).  Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery and in lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to PSP.org or CurePSP 30 E. Padonia Road Suite 201, Timonium, MD 21093.
