Stanley C. Odymala

Stacky was born in Perry, New York on March 28, 1929 a son of the late Walter and Anna (Krawczak) Odymala. Stacky served with the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a graduate of Perry Central School and received his associate’s degree at RIT in Rochester. He retired from the Rochester Carpenters Union Local (85) 276 in Rochester. He was a member of the St. Isidore’s Catholic Parish (St. Joseph’s Church) in Perry. He was a member of Dom Polski’s, the Perry VFW, Perry Vets Club and the Silver Lake Sportsman’s Club.

He is survived by his wife Dolores Aaron Odymala whom he married on October 9, 1982, a step-daughter: Kelly (Richard) Cicero of Leicester, 4 step-sons: Douglas McClurg of Avon, Charles (Senia) McClurg of Clarksville, Tenn., Gregory (Anita Scott) McClurg of Perry and David (Lori) McClurg of Perry, along with 10 grandchildren.

Family and friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9pm on Sunday January 19th at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main St. Perry, NY 14530. Prayers will be recited at the Funeral Home, 10:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Isidore’s Catholic Parish 8 Park St. Perry, NY 14530 at 11:00 AM on Monday January 20, 2014. He will be laid to rest in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Perry.
