Ray E. Willis, 87 of Albion, died Tuesday January 21, 2014 at the United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia. He was born October 15, 1926 in Erwin, TN to the late John (Lacresia Cody) Willis. Mr. Willis worked for Maislin Transport in Buffalo. He was a United States Army Veteran and member of the National Guard. He is preceded in death by a brother John Willis; two sisters Mary Tipton and Geneva Shirton.
Mr. Willis is survived by his beloved wife Lucille (Bigsby) Willis of Albion; son Earl Willis of Batavia; daughters Agnes (Gary) Gates of Warsaw; Renee (Donald) Long of Batavia; brother James Willis of TN; 26 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
There will be no prior calling hours. Funeral Services will take place 11:30 AM on Monday January 27, 2014 at the Alabama & Bason United Methodist Church 1392 Church St. Alabama, NY 14013. He will be laid to rest in Grand View Cemetery, Batavia.
