Margot H. Perkins

      Margot H. Perkins, 81, of LeRoy,  passed away peacefully at Unity Park Ridge Hospital in Rochester on Tuesday, January 28, 2014.
     Margot was born in Batavia, New York October 12th, 1932.  Following her graduation from LeRoy High School, as Valedictorian in 1950, she attended Syracuse University and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1954 with a B.S. in sociology. Margot was a member of the Lambda Chapter of Theta Phi Alpha.  She returned to LeRoy, where she raised her family while also working as a legal secretary and in retail. Margot is preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Stanley and Elizabeth Hare, her Aunt Catherine and Uncle Merton Powers, and her beloved sister, Fay Neville.

     Margot will be remembered by her family and friends as a woman with a keen mind, sharp sense of humor, and a quiet grace. She had a gift of making those around her feel welcomed and comfortable.
     Margot is lovingly remembered by her children, Kevin (Renee), of Hollis, New Hampshire; Paula Orenstein (Edward), of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania; Sean (Pattie), of Dover, New Hampshire; April Dombkowski (Richard), of Apex, North Carolina; and Megan, of Rochester, New York. She will also be missed by her nine grandchildren, Allison, Max, Molly, Alexandra, Martin, McHale, Zachary, Noah, and Joshua, along with her two nieces, Elizabeth Neville Skidmore, of Carlisle, Massachusetts and Moya Neville of Alpharetta, Georgia, as well as many other relatives and close friends.
     Friends may call on the family on Saturday from 9 ~ 11:30 AM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service, 8700 Lake Road (Rt 19), LeRoy, where a Catholic funeral service will follow at 11:30 AM. Interment in St. Francis Cemetery will be in the spring at the convenience of the family.
