DOLORES M. RICHARDSON

DOLORES M. RICHARDSON - Age 75, of Batavia, died peacefully Thursday afternoon February 20, 2014 at home with her loving family at her side. She was born August 19, 1938 in Batavia to the late Joseph and Margaret (Spiotta) Pappalardo, also preceded in death by her sisters, Theresa Valle and Ann Richmond.

   Mrs. Richardson is a member of Resurrection Parish, she worked at Sylvania, Vincent Jewelers and was a lunch aid at Batavia High School. She enjoyed music and dancing, cooking authentic Italian dishes her cats Ruby and Garnett, she also enjoyed spending time at her cottage in the 1000 Islands. Her most passionate role was that of a beloved and dedicated wife to her husband, Don and endearing mother to their children, she also enjoyed spending as much time as possible with her grandchildren.

   She is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, Donald V. Richardson Sr. of Batavia; beloved daughter, Lori (John) Thompson of Attica and their children, Bryan, Steven and Owen; loving son, Donald V. "Duke" (Caroline) Richardson Jr. of Batavia and their children, Tanner and Sawyer along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

   Family and friends may visit from 10:30 -11:30 a.m. on Tuesday February 25, 2014 at the Michael S. Tomaszewski Funeral & Cremation Chapel, LLC 4120 West Main Street Road Batavia, New York 14020 where prayers will be recited 11:30 a.m. followed by a 12:00 Noon Mass of Christian Burial at Resurrection Parish (St. Joseph's Site). Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Attica and in lieu of flowers those desiring may make memorial contributions to HomeCare & Hospice 29 Liberty Street Batavia, New York 14020.
