Stephanie T. Hawkins Legg

Stephanie T. Hawkins Legg, 89 of LeRoy, passed away peacefully on Saturday March 15, 2014 at United Memorial Medical Center, Batavia. She was born August 1, 1924 in Bennington to the late Stephen (Catherine Taraseck) Podwika. Mrs. Legg formerly owned and operated the Attica Bar and Grill with her husband Virgil. She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy in LeRoy. Mrs. Legg loved playing cards, bingo and going to the casino as often as possible. She is preceded in death by her first husband Virgil Hawkins; second husband Donald Legg Sr., brother John; sisters Lottie, Mary, Celia, and Rose.

She is survived by her sons Ronald (Darlyn) Hawkins; James (Debra) Hawkins; Donald Legg Jr. all of LeRoy; granddaughter Sherry (Rich) Reba; great-grandsons Dominick and Christopher along with many nieces and nephews.

There will be no prior calling hours. A 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday March 18, 2014 at Sts. Joachim & Anne Parish 50 East Ave. Attica, NY 14011. She will be laid to rest in St. Vincent’s Cemetery, Attica.
