He was born October 22, 1952, a son of the late Normand W. and Betty J. Nessel Godbout.
He is survived by his loving sister, Susan J. (Kevin) Dowd of LeRoy.
Phillip exemplified the utmost strength and courage during his 27 year battle with Multiple Schlerosis. Don't judge a book by its cover, because the contributions he made to his "community" were inspiring as well as humbling.
