Mr. Stone was a United States Navy Veteran, he was a member of the American Legion and the Moose Club. He worked for many years at Attica Correctional Facility. Stoney enjoyed spending time at Rushford Lake, he was an avid outdoorsman that loved to hunt and fish along with being an avid Buffalo Bills and New York Yankees Fan.
He is survived by his longtime companion Sandra Graff of Attica; sister Sharon (Eugene) Anderson of Attica; nephews Eric Anderson of Bronxville, NY; Aaron (Christine) Anderson of Attica; nieces Marianne (Mark) Linsey of Bennington; Dianne (Scott) Reiner of Bergen; along with several great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
Friends are invited to call on Thursday September 25, 2014 from 3 to 7 PM at Marley Funeral Home, LLC. 135 Main Street Attica, New York 14011. A 7:00 PM Funeral Service will be held following calling hours at the Funeral Home. An 11:00 AM Graveside Service will take place on Friday September 26, 2014 at White Cemetery in Rushford with Military Honors.
