Palmina "Pam" M. O'Geen

LeRoy ~ Palmina "Pam" M. O'Geen, age 82, of Gilbert Street, passed away early Saturday morning (Sept. 27, 2014) at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia.

     Miss O'Geen was born July 6, 1932 in LeRoy, a daughter of the late Joseph G. and Pauline Maloni O'Geen.

     She will be remembered as a loving and compassionate sister and aunt, who was devoted to her family.  She enjoyed baking and spending time with her nieces and nephews.  She was a lifelong member of St. Joseph's Church and was a retired telephone operator, having worked at Lapp Insulator Company and Eastman Kodak.

     She is survived by her siblings, Sarah Zinni of Batavia, Frank (Rose) O'Geen of Batavia, Salvatore (Joan) O'Geen of LeRoy, Philip (JoAnn) O'Geen of LeRoy, Joseph A. (Donna) O'Geen of LeRoy and Connie Cecere of LeRoy, along with many loving nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a brother, James M. O'Geen.

     Family and friends are invited to attend her Rite of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, St. Joseph's Oratory, 27 Lake Street, LeRoy.  Private interment will follow in St. Francis Cemetery.

     In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to either Crossroads House or American Heart Association.
