Margaret E. "Peggy" Riorden

Margaret E. "Peggy" Riorden, 66, of Rochester formerly of Perry died on October 27, 2014 at her home in Rochester.  She was born in Rochester, New York on October 28, 1947 a daughter of the late Charles and Rita (Kelly) Simmons.  Peggy was a registered nurse while she lived in St. Louis for many years and worked in the US Postal Service in Rochester.  She was a member of the Celebrate Church in Leicester. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, antiques, shopping, crafts and loved animals especially her cat Mr. Miles.  Along with her parents she is preceded in death by a brother John Simmons.

Peggy is survived by a daughter Katherine (Eric) Bochetto of Rochester, 2 sons Jeffrey (Rosanna) Riorden of Durham, NC, Matthew (Sara) Riorden of St. Louis, MO, 5 sisters Theresa Richardson of Kodiak, AK, Barbara Simmons of Rochester, Marie (Joseph) Macko of Spencerport, Patricia Harper of Ovid, Christine Collins of Brooksville, FL, a brother James Simmons of Rochester, 3 grandchildren Alexandria Riorden, Brayden Bochetto and Quinn Riorden along with many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call from 10am – 1pm on Saturday November 1, 2014 at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC.  98 North Main Street Perry, where funeral services will follow at 1:00pm.  She will be laid to rest in Glenwood Cemetery in Perry.
