Mary V. Szymanski

Mary V. Szymanski, 94, of 37 Rosevelt Ave., Batavia, died Monday (November 10, 2014) at United Memorial Medical Center.
 
She was born in Batavia on June 1, 1920 a daughter of the late Karol and Johana Kovalcik Bachulak.  
 
Mary had worked for the former Kisiel Die Cast Co. of Batavia.  She was a member of Ascension Parish and the Rosary Society. She enjoyed and dedicated much of her life caring for her daughter JoAnn who will miss her very much. Her favorite hobbies include bowling, bingo and solving TV Guide crossword puzzles. 
 
She is survived by her three daughters: JoAnn Szymanski, Theresa (Terry) Szymanski and Jeanette "Sam" Szymanski all of Batavia. A grandson Christopher (Jacqueline) Downs of Irondequoit, NY. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews also survive. 
 
She is the sister of the late Charles, John, Joseph and Rose Bachulak and Helen Yasses.
 
Friends may share their condolences, thoughts and fond memories with the family on Friday (Nov. 14th) from 6 - 8 PM at the J. LEONARD MCANDREW FUNERAL HOME, LLC., 2 BOGUE AVE., BATAVIA, where the funeral service will be Saturday at 11:00 AM followed by entombment in the Rev. T. Bernard Kelly Mausoleum in St. Joseph Cemetery.   
 
The Rosary Society of Ascension Parish will recite the rosary at 5:30 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
