FRANCES L. "FRAN" HORZEMPA - 78, of Elba, died Saturday evening December 20, 2014 at Crossroads House in Batavia. She was born January 21, 1936 in Oakfield, NY to the late John and Frances (McMahon) Allyn, also preceded in death by her husband, Henry "Hank" Horzempa; son, Michael G. Horzempa; brothers, Daniel, Douglas, Lyle, Carl, James and Lee Allyn; sisters, Evelyn, Mary & Fern Allyn.

      Surviving are her loving children, Mary E. Webster of Elba and Major James J. Horzempa, USMC, Retired; 7 grandchildren, Joseph (Wendy) Webster, David (Katie) Webster, Julie (Thomas Klycek) Webster, Anne (Tony) Hutchinson, Michael (Matt) Horzempa, Maggie & Anna Horzempa; 3 great-grandchildren, David, Theresa Webster & Madison Hutchinson; very special niece, Judy Allyn; special nephew, Carl Foust along with several nieces and nephews.

   The Horzempa Family will be present from 4-8 p.m. Monday December 29, 2014 at the MICHAEL S. TOMASZEWSKI FUNERAL & CREMATION CHAPEL, LLC 4120 WEST MAIN STREET ROAD BATAVIA, NEW YORK 14020 where funeral services will immediately follow. She will be laid to rest with her beloved husband in Maple Lawn Cemetery and memorials in her memory can be made to Crossroads House 11 Liberty Street Batavia, New York or a charity of the donor's choice.
