She was a member of Ascension Parish and worked for years at United Memorial Medical Center. Claudia enjoyed Native American History and its Culture, was an avid New York Yankees and Chicago Bears fan. She loved to travel and enjoyed her road trips to the water, but what brought her the most joy was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren
She is survived by her loving children, Mark (Mary Margaret) Mruczek of TX & their children, Rachel & Renee; Pat (Jeanette) Mruczek of Alexander and their children, Justin, Nicholas & Marissa; Noreen (Ryan) Mooney of Oakfield and their children, Ryan (Trish), Zachary (Amy) Stehlar & Sara; Kellyann (Derek) Tefft of MI and their children, Collin & Avery; 2 great-grandchildren, Kaliegh & Lucy; sisters-in-law, Alice and Janet Mruczek, former husband, Francis Mruczek of Batavia along with several nieces and nephews.
Claudia's family will be present from 11-1:00 p.m. on Saturday January 31, 2015 at the MICHAEL S. TOMASZEWSKI FUNERAL & CREMATION CHAPEL, LLC 4120 WEST MAIN STREET ROAD BATAVIA, NEW YORK 14020 where funeral services will immediately follow. Memorials in her memory can be made to the family for a future memorial.
