Mrs. Derleth and her husband John owned the Byron Hotel for 25 years. She was a member of Resurrection Parish and enjoyed doing various crafts.
Patricia is survived by her loving husband John J. Derleth of Batavia; children Mary Moskal of Batavia, Roy (Nancy) Johnson of NH, Wade (life partner Kevin) Johnson of NC, Christine (Richard) Thomas of Buffalo, Shirley (Allen) Shaffer of FL, John (Betty) Derleth Jr. of NC; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be private. A 12:00 Noon Mass of Christian Burial will take place Monday February 9, 2015 at Resurrection Parish (St. Joseph’s) 303 East Main Street Batavia, New York 14020. She will be laid to rest in Grand View Cemetery.
