Ruth was an avid golfer and enjoyed winters in Las Vegas with her husband. She always loved family functions and time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren
Surviving is her beloved husband of 67 years, Edwin R. Greene, Sr. of Batavia; loving children; Jane (late Dennis) Glor, Joyce (Ken) Grazioplene and Edwin R. "Buddy" Greene, Jr. all of Oakfield; sister, Lois (Duane) Smith of CA; 4 grandchildren, Randy (Megan) Glor, David Glor, Michael (Shannon) Grazioplene and Jeffrey (Andrea) Grazioplene; 8 great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Carson, Cady & Haylee Glor, Taylor, Zackary, Cole & Elizabeth Grazioplene along with several nieces and nephews.
Ruth's family will be present from 11-12 p.m. Tuesday March 10, 2015 at the MICHAEL S. TOMASZEWSKI FUNERAL & CREMATION CHAPEL, LLC 4120 WEST MAIN STREET ROAD BATAVIA, NEW YORK 14020 where a Celebration of Life will begin at 12:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Cary Cemetery and memorials in her memory can be made to the Oakfield Historical Society PO Box 74 Oakfield, New York 14125 or the Downs Syndrome Parent Support Group of Genesee County, Inc. 2121 Lewiston Road Oakfield, New York 14125.
