Marcia E. Lawrence

Marcia E. Lawrence, 68 of Alexander, passed peacefully on Tuesday March 17, 2015 at ECMC in Buffalo. She was born August 28, 1946 in Warsaw to the late Robert (Ruth Beardsley) Bender. She is preceded in death by her sister Claudia Carothers.

Marcia worked as a Med Tech at UMMC for 35 years and she loved to travel.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years Jim F. Lawrence of Alexander; children Cathy and Dave Lawrence both of Batavia; brother Michael (Gail) Bender of Webster; brothers-in-law Joe Carothers of Baldwinsville; Richard Williams of Watkins Glen, along with several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call on Friday March 20, 2015 from 4-7 PM at Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc. 329-333 West Main Street Batavia, New York 14020. Funeral Services will be held privately.  She will be laid to rest in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Alexander.
