Albion - Charles A. Price, 61, of Albion, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Strong Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Price was born August 24, 1953 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, a son of Jean Jackson Price of Byron and the late Arthur Price.

Charlie enjoyed photography and traveling with his family. His true passion was boating and being out on the water. Charlie said he "felt closest to God while on the water."

Surviving along with his mother are his sister, Margaret J. (late Robert) Hayes of Byron; two brothers, John B. (Kari Simonetti) Price of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Kenneth A. (Ann) Price of Greeley, Colorado; a sister-in-law, Kathy Cromwell Price of Memphis, Tennessee; several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends including Rich (Jodi) Gaines of Albion.

He is predeceased by his brother David L. Price.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bohm-Calarco-Smith Funeral Home, 308 East Main Street, Batavia. His funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Elba, 23 North Main Street, Elba.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oak Orchard Youth Sailing, 1103 Archbald Drive, Waterport, New York 14571.
