Batavia - Jessie E. Frier, 68, of Batavia, died Sunday (April 5, 2015) at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia.
Jessie was born March 28, 1947 in Batavia, a daughter of the late Edward and Doris (Foster) Meyers.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Jessie will be remembered for her dedication to taking care of people. She was a certified nurses assistant at the Genesee County Nursing Home in Batavia.
Survivors include her husband, Glenn Frier of Batavia; children, Kathleen (James) Grasby of LeRoy, Deborah (Douglas) Brown of Cowlesville and Bradley Frier of Batavia; grandchildren, Douglas Brown Jr., Danielle (Jon) Winter and Jason Grasby; great-grandchildren, Faith Winter, Leland Winter, Ava Brown and Blake Brown; brothers, Gary (Carla) Meyers of North Carolina, Dennis (LuAnn) Meyers of Batavia, David (Vicky) Andrews of Rochester and James (Vanessa) Andrews of Batavia and several nieces and nephews.
She is a sister of the late Paul Andrews and Lorraine Chartrand.
There are no prior calling hours and services will be private. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery, Batavia.
