Marie E. Heiler, 91, of Brockport passed away on Thursday June 18, 2015 at The Landing in Brockport. She was born November 12, 1923 in Greenwich, CT., to the late George (Florry Durant) Merritt and grew up in Miami Beach, Florida. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband William Heiler; brother George Merritt and loving step-father Isadore Benjamin.

Marie attended the University of Alabama. She was a member of the Resurrection Parish, the Genesee Community College Choral and volunteered for the St. Jerome’s Guild. She had a deep love for music, as it was a big part of her life.
