Gary R. Karrer, 69, passed away peacefully on Saturday, (October 14, 2017) at Bradford Nursing Pavillion in Bradford, Pa. of complications from end stage C.O.P.D.
He was born in Warsaw, NY on August 22, 1948, a son of the late Justin and Dorothy Johnson Karrer Sr.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Margaret Post and two brothers Kenneth and Justin Karrer Jr.
Mr. Karrer worked in Sanitation prior to his retirement. Gary was a talented guitar player and singer and wrote many of his own songs.
Surviving is his long time companion Christine Pringle, his daughters; Lynda (Jeffrey) Edenholm of Batavia, N.Y., Joy(Ron) Paxton of Colorado Sp.Co., Tabatha (Jim) Granata of South Wales, N.Y., Starr Karrer of Bradford, Pa. ,Grandchildren Kyle(Amanda) Edenholm, Jeffrey Edenholm Jr., Kylie and Meghan Paxton,Trey Barnhardt, Alex Parker, Arianna,Morgan and Olivia Goodell, and a great granddaughter Madison Edenholm.
Funeral arrangements were prepared by Mascho Funeral Home in Bradford, PA.
