Sister of the late David (2003), the late Margaret Valderey (2014); Gloria (Wafik) Girges and Elaine Dart; mother of Allison (Wes) Brown, Jeremy (Susan) McClurg; grandmother of Jenna Pangrazio (Brody), Brianna (Chase) Mazzela, Lauren and Teagan McClurg, Addison Brown; great-grandmother of Alaina Hoffmeister; dear friend of many years Jeff Housenecht and family, Jay (Carrie) and grandchildren Zach and Lily. Marie has loving nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
Marie worked as a home healthcare nurse for many years caring for the dying patient. She also worked at St. Luke’s nursing home and at Genesee nursing home as a treatment nurse. Marie’s strong faith and courage has been obvious all of her life in giving and sharing to family and community.
Family and friends are invited for visitation on Tuesday May 8, 2018 from 12:30-1:00PM at the West Bethany Baptist Church, 10333 West Bethany Road, East Bethany NY, 14504. A 1:00PM Celebration of Marie’s life will immediately follow visitation at the church with Pastor Jim Kirsch officiating. She will be laid to rest in West Bethany Cemetery.
