Pat Shaw

Byron ~ Born in Gowanda, to the late Wayne and Emma (nee Fog) Marsh on Nov. 10, 1936.  She passed away at home on Aug. 22, 2018 after an 18 year battle with health issues.

    

Along with her husband, Corky, they had dairy farms in Eden and Lawtons before she worked with race horses at Hamburg and Batavia.  Together, they amassed a large collection of antique tractors and trucks, that they both enjoyed showing.  She was a member of the Byron Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary for over 35 years as well as many other organizations.  She was also a member of the Bergen Presbyterian Church for over 40 years.

     She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Alvin F. (Corky) Shaw; her daughter, Rose Marie (late Michael) Quinn of Michigan; her son, Jon (Judy) Shaw of Warsaw; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and her sisters, Barbara Fisk of Athens, Texas and Joyce Gibbs of Little Valley.

     Family and friends may call on Thursday, August 30 from 2 ~ 8 PM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Rd. (Rt. 19), LeRoy.  Her Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, August 31 at 11:00 AM at the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Bergen, 38 S. Lake St., Bergen.  Her graveside service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 1 at 9:00 AM in the family plot of Evergreen Cemetery, 2862 E. Church St., Eden, N.Y.
