Beverly B. Doran

Beverly B. Doran, age 81, of Roanoke Rd., Pavilion passed away Tuesday, September 4th, 2018, at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility in Warsaw. She was born in Dunkirk, January 14th, 1937, daughter of the late Merle and Lillian Smith Babcock.
A lifetime resident of Genesee County and a graduate of Dunkirk High School, Beverly received a two year degree from the Rochester Business Institute and worked as a secretary for Kodak in Rochester, Boylan Law Office in LeRoy, and B.R. Dewitt in Pavilion. She was a member of the Home Bureau and the United Methodist Church in Pavilion. Beverly loved traveling, especially her trips to Europe and Las Vegas, playing Euchre and spending time at the casino.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert W. Doran; a grandson, Timothy Doran; 3 sisters, Lucille Cornprobst, Joyce Sandhoff and Loretta Babcock; and 2 brothers, Junior and Gary Babcock. Survivors include 2 daughters, Sherry (Ken) Steinmetz of Byron and Marjorie (James) Cutcliffe of Pavilion; 2 sons, Robert (Lisa) Doran of Pavilion and Michael (Melissa) Doran of Bethany; 2 sisters, Arlene Weidnhofer and Beatrice Maguire; a brother, Robert Babcock; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in the Pavilion Cemetery. A memorial celebration will be held Saturday, September 15th, 2018 at the Wyoming County Veterans Club in Warsaw from 1pm to 4pm. Please visit www.weeksfuneral.com to offer online condolences.
