ANTHONY B. "TONY" GALANTI ~ Age 76, of Batavia, died peacefully Wednesday August 22, 2018 at Highland Hospital. He was born January 30, 1942, in Batavia, NY, a son of the late Anthony and Domenica (Sylvania) Galanti, also preceded in death by his brother, Richard Galanti.

Tony was an avid baseball fan, especially the New York Yankees and many years ago served as the business manager for the Albuquerque Dukes, a minor league farm team for the Dodgers. When Tony returned to the area he along with his son, Patrick operated a Pontillo's Pizzeria in Rochester, NY.

Surviving are his sons, Patrick (Richana) Galanti of Brockport and children, Aiyana, Sophia & Nicole, Daniel Galanti of Alaska and children, Raine, Evelyn, Anthony & Jenna; brother, Marty Galanti of Batavia; sister, Lorraine (late Poncho) Schaub; nieces and caregiver, Jessica along with Shelby, Wiley, Chandler, Oliver, Bennett, Kim, Marty, Mark, Aaron, Ashley, Grayson and David

Please join the family for a Graveside Service 11am Saturday September 8, 2018 at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Memorials in his memory are suggested to the Palliative Care unit at Highland Hospital.
