Mrs. Doris M. Hatch

Stafford- Doris M. Hatch, age 92, of Stafford, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018 at the LeRoy Village Green Nursing Facility.

Mrs. Hatch was born September 24, 1925 in Rochester, a daughter of the late Claude Moose and Olevia V. Hardy Moose.

A longtime member of East Bethany Presbyterian Church, she was active in church activities including, the garden club, former trustee and choir member. Throughout the years, she made and designed several wedding cakes and had a love for her cats and dogs. She was employed at Central Tractor in Batavia and for The Batavia Daily News.

She is predeceased by her husbands, Lester Legg and Lloyd Hatch.

Surviving are her children, Aleasa (William) Dominiak of Stafford, Lorna (Douglas) Burger of Pavilion and Kevin (Michelle) Legg of Pittsford; two brothers, Phillip Moose of Livonia and Kenneth (Mary) Moose of Rush; her sister, Shirley Nuijens of Irondequoit; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She is the sister of the late Donald Moose, Leslie Moose and Luella Dunn.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main Street, Batavia where services will follow immediately at 4 p.m. She will be laid to rest in East Bethany Cemetery.
