Mary Lou worked for the former Genesee County Nursing Home, enjoyed crocheting, crafts, animals, especially her dogs and time spent with her son and daughter-in-law.
Mary is survived by her beloved husband, Richard Potwora of Batavia; son, Norm (Danielle) Michael of LeRoy, NY; step-son, Dustin Potwora of FL; step-daughter, Cassandra (Jake) Ward of Alabama, NY; brothers, John Stevens and Abe (Jennifer) Stevens all of Batavia; sisters, Barb Kohl of Batavia, Rosie (John) Cobb of Las Vegas, Sue (Doug) Hackett of SC; grandson, Jaiden Michael along with several nieces and nephews.
There is no prior visitation and funeral services will be held at a future date. Memorials in her memory are suggested to a charity of the donor’s choice.
