Jennie C. Trigilio, 91, of Batavia passed away peacefully on January 3, 2019 at the United Memorial Medical Center. She was born on October 17, 1927 in Batavia to the late Ralph and Mary (DeFino) Recchio. In addition to her parents, Jennie is predeceased by her husband; Joseph Trigilio; siblings Frank, Mike, Ralph, and Helen Recchio, Mary Schiavone, Margaret Schlossel and Josephine Fragnito.

Jennie was a long time restaurateur along with her husband. Together they ran Joe’s Track Kitchen. She was an avid bingo and card player and loved going to the casino.

She is survived by her children; Angela Earle of Batavia, Joseph (Cathy) Trigilio of Attica and Tammy (Mark) Schmidt of Batavia; 5 grandchildren Tina (Tony) Ferrando, Dan Boyd, Frank (Jennifer) Trigilio, John and Julie Earle; 7 great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call on Monday January 7, 2019 from 9:00-10:30AM at Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc. 329-333 West Main Street Batavia, New York 14020. An 11:00AM Mass of Christian Burial will follow visitation at Ascension Parish 19 Sumner St. in Batavia. Jennie will be entombed in St. Joseph’s Mausoleum.
